We just received a few new blender fabrics in from Maywood Studio Beautiful Basics Collection. These fabrics are 44/45" wide.   We also received more of our favorite ruler for making half square triangle. The 6 1/2 Triangle Square Up Ruler makes perfect half triangle squares and quarter triangle squares in sizes up to 6 1/2 inch. Fully illustrated and detailed instructions are included. The ruler is marked in two colors for easy reading. Convenient 1/8 inch, 1/4 inch, 1/2 inch and 1 inch lines for precise measuring. The Ruler is made of heavy gauge acrylic and is laser precise....

What's on my machine this week?

I thought I would show you a few things that I have worked on this past week. This lovely "Welcome" quilt will brighten any room it gets placed in. The recipient of this flannel quilt will really enjoy wrapping up in it on those cold winter evenings we get here in Canada. I'm just loading a beautiful quilt made by a true artist. It's sure not your typical Lonestar quilt. I can hardly wait to start quilting it with feathers and metallic thread.

I was thinking this morning of how lucky we are to have all the quilting tools we have that make our life so much easier. Gone are the days where all you had were a pencil,  scissors and cardboard templates.
